This year Cris brings her art background to her work with an older group of children in our Preschool, and is delighted to be in the new classroom space with lots of natural light. She is excited about the opportunity to discern differences from the younger children she has worked with during her eight years of teaching here. In past years, Cris and the children have created handmade paper out of recycled materials, and she will continue her exploration of the ways in which recycled materials can be used by both children and parents. She believes that children are never too young to begin thinking about recycling and helping to preserve and restore the environment.
