2010-2011 Tuition and Fees
Preschool (Five days/week): $5,040
Lower School: $10,870

Middle School: $10,870

Tuition and fees include payment for student and classroom supplies, technology, textbooks, and student norm-based testing. The tuition and fee amounts do not include discretionary expenses such as field trips, milk, lunch, yearbook, or after-school enrichment.

In addition to the annual tuition, there is a one-time new family endowment fee of $100.

There are three tuition payment plans from which to choose: payment in full, payment in two installments or payment monthly. Details are provided in the enrollment contract.

Financial Aid
We offer limited tuition assistance. Like most area independent schools, our financial aid determinations rely in part on a needs assessment by a third party, SSS by NAIS (School and Student Services by the National Association of Independent Schools) in Washington, DC. We take into consideration the results of the needs assessment, but final decisions about financial aid awards are made by Sabot at Stony Point.

Financial aid and admissions decisions are made independently. Parents may request financial aid materials when they submit their application. Financial Aid applications must be submitted by January 31 for the following school year.

Contributions
Sabot at Stony Point is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of parents and community professionals. Parents also volunteer in the daily program. Like many independent schools, Sabot at Stony Point relies on tax-deductible contributions to the school for supplemental income. An annual giving campaign, fund-raising activities and capital-building efforts ensure the continuity and strengthening of the school’s programs and facilities.
