Marty leads development and implementation of our curriculum and educational program, and serves as a resource for teachers. She has spent more than thirty years working in the early childhood field, as a teacher, teacher-researcher, program director, and consultant. Her undergraduate degree is in anthropology, and she earned her Master’s in child development from Virginia Tech.

Marty has visited the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy three times. Her writing is published in Teaching and Learning: Collaborative Exploration of the Reggio Emilia Approach and in the Early Childhood Journal.
