• An environment where children develop intrinsic motivation and joy in learning.
• Partnership with highly trained educators to support your child’s intellectual and personal growth.
• Evidence based, cutting edge curriculum responsive to the changing needs of a global society.
• A 28-acre campus, adjacent to a 100-acre park of trails and streams, allowing students extensive access to physical activity and learning in nature.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition covers all required activities and materials except for the computer required by the Middle School Bring Your Own Device program. Tuition does not cover expenses such as extended day fees, some field trips, and after-school enrichment.

In addition to the annual tuition, there is a one-time new family endowment fee.

We offer three tuition payment options: payment in full, payment in two installments (July and January), or payment in 10 monthly installments beginning in July. Details are provided in the enrollment contract.

Our Extended Day program includes morning and afternoon care on regular school days and a full-day program on certain holidays and non-school days. Extended Day is available for all students, including preschoolers, throughout the school year. View the Extended Day Overview & Rates for more information.

Financial Aid

We offer tuition assistance to help bridge the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of their child’s education. While the cost of a Sabot education should not be a barrier to applying or attending, it remains the family’s responsibility to cover some portion of the cost of tuition.

Currently, 26% of our 201 students receive some amount of aid to offset the tuition cost. Financial assistance only applies to tuition costs and does not cover extended day fees.

Our tuition assistance determinations rely in part on a needs assessment by a third party, School and Student Services by the National Association of Independent Schools (SSS by NAIS). Sabot’s SSS by NAIS identification code is 3519. We take into consideration the results of the needs assessment, but final decisions about awards are made by Sabot at Stony Point. We make every effort to award some amount of aid to every student with a demonstrated need.

All families interested in applying for financial aid should follow the procedures and timeline detailed in our Tuition Assistance Information Packet. Decisions regarding awards are made in response to complete financial aid applications and are made independently of admissions decisions. The financial aid committee maintains strict confidentiality over financial aid files and trusts that the family will keep the same discretion regarding awards and decisions.

Tuition assistance applications must be submitted by January 31st in order to be considered for the coming school year.

It is the policy of Sabot at Stony Point to admit students and to administer financial aid without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, gender, or sexual orientation.
